Creative Writer

We are seeking a **Creative Writer** to join our team and contribute to our cutting-edge projects involving visual question answering, summarization, and reasoning. As a Creative Writer, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating model-generated content, creating conversational statements, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of the output. This position requires a strong command of language, editorial experience, and exceptional reasoning skills.

**Responsibilities**:
Evaluate the images and context generated by models and create conversational statements that accurately describe the visual content.

Refine and enhance the model-generated captions through editorial expertise, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and engaging language.

Employ reasoning skills to analyze images, understand their content, and generate accurate and logical responses.

Think creatively to develop original and unique captions that go beyond factual descriptions, adding flair and engaging elements.

Assess whether the specifics of the given questions are answered correctly and generate additional questions if necessary.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and engineers, to improve the performance and accuracy of the image captioning models.

Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in image captioning technologies and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our capabilities.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., BA English Lit or MA English Lit) or equivalent practical experience

Strong vocabulary and language skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to generate accurate and contextually appropriate captions.

Proven editorial experience, with the ability to refine and enhance written content to meet high-quality standards.

Exceptional reasoning skills, enabling critical analysis of images and the generation of relevant and logical responses.

Creative thinking ability to develop original and engaging captions that captivate the audience.

Familiarity with image captioning modalities such as Visual Q&A, summarization, and reasoning.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and contribute to project discussions.

**Training & Quality Management**

Continuous training and feedback loops are important to ensure high quality. Unlike traditional tasks, LLM tasks are nuanced and hence require close feedback during the initial phases. We have created following training projects:
Paragraph summarization:
The focus is on reading comprehension, separating important points from the filler words and condensing them into a shorter paragraph.

Image captioning:
This training focuses on attention to detail. The training focuses on how to recognize the objects, actions, and scenes in the image and describe the recognized entities in a coherent manner.

Question and Answer Generation:
The training focuses on phrasing meaningful questions and answer pairs for a variety of question types, such as WH, Yes/No, and short, bulleted answers.

**Salary**: ₹200,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per month
