**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Website Design and Development**:

- Design and develop website layouts, interfaces, and features based on client or organizational needs.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to present design concepts.
- Implement design elements using HTML, CSS, and other web design tools.
- **User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI)**:

- Ensure websites are intuitive, easy to navigate, and visually appealing.
- Conduct user research to understand target audiences and improve usability.
- Optimize websites for various devices and screen sizes (responsive design).
- **Graphic Design and Branding**:

- Design web graphics, banners, and other visual elements in line with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align website design with brand messaging.
- **Testing and Debugging**:

- Test websites for functionality, speed, and responsiveness across different browsers and devices.
- Identify and fix design issues or inconsistencies.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with developers, content creators, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive projects.
- Gather and implement feedback from stakeholders to refine designs.
- **Maintenance and Updates**:

- Ensure websites are updated regularly with fresh content and features.
- Maintain website security and fix any design-related bugs or errors.

**Qualifications: Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not always required).

**Experience**:

- 3-5 years of experience in website design or related roles.
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous website design projects.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in web design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
- Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Shopify.
- Understanding of SEO principles and website performance optimization.
- Strong eye for detail, creativity, and aesthetics.
