Role and responsibilities
- Conducting, appearing and representing clients before courts for litigation matters in civil/trial courts in Karnataka, exposure and experience in drafting, client management, fluency in Kannada.
- Conduct court pleadings and processes, present cases in front of judges, trial preparation, manage all phases of the litigation process from investigation to appeal and deal with local law authorities.
- Responsible for research into legal cases
- Assisting senior advocates in forming arguments and proceedings in court.
- Help and complete court and administrative paperwork.
- Prepare first draft of pleadings on the cases, list of dates, prepare cross questions/ draft agreements as instructed by any senior.
- Help review agreements and change drafts after consultation with senior advocates.
- Responsible for drafting the case updates/reporting letters to clients on the same day as the case.
- Reporting progress to the partners/senior members of the firm.
- Follow strict privacy and confidentiality guidelines and respect local, state, and central laws.
- Have arbitration and general Litigation, i.e. Tribunal, Trial and Appellate Court experience
- Pay close attention to detail when reading legal documents.

- Have excellent verbal and written skills to communicate with clients, court staff, judges, and other advocates.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Be organized and diligent.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
