Maintenance Foreman

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**A. Supervisory & Coordination Tasks**
- Manage and lead daily operations of the maintenance team (plumbers, electricians, carpenters, HVAC technicians, painters, and masons).
- Allocate tasks, monitor work performance, and ensure adherence to schedules and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality control checks.
- Provide hands-on assistance for complex or urgent maintenance tasks.

**B. Communication & Reporting**
- Report directly to the facility engineer or designated person in charge.
- Maintain records and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on:
Team performance and attendance

Work progress and issues

Material usage and maintenance logs
- Coordinate with internal departments to align maintenance activities with operational needs.

**C. Technical Oversight**
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety practices.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with:
Plumbing systems

AC units and HVAC controls

Civil works including masonry, painting, and structural patching
- Manage the inventory and condition of tools and maintenance equipment.

**D. Safety Compliance**
- Enforce use of proper PPE and safe work practices across the team.
- Conduct and participate in safety toolbox meetings and site audits.
- Promote safety awareness and monitor compliance with access control rules, especially in hazardous zones (control rooms, laboratories, electrical panels, etc.).

**5. Contractor’s General Obligations**
- Uniforms & Conduct: The Contractor shall ensure that the Foreman and all staff are wearing uniforms provided by the Contractor and maintain a professional attitude.
- Transportation: The contractor shall provide transportation for the foreman to and from the site.
- Tools & Equipment: The contractor shall supply all necessary tools and equipment required for the foreman to carry out his tasks efficiently.
- Manpower Availability: The contractor shall always maintain full staffing and ensure the uninterrupted availability of the foreman as per contract requirements.
- Safety Awareness: The contractor shall regularly promote safety education, especially in sensitive areas like laboratories, electrical rooms, fire protection systems, and restricted plant areas.

**6. Emergency Management Plan (EMP)**

The contractor shall develop and implement a comprehensive emergency management plan (EMP) to address potential risks and ensure a prompt response until emergency services arrive.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
