**Job description**
- **Conducting Electrical Tests**: Performing a variety of electrical tests on components, systems, and prototypes.
- **Data Collection and Reporting**: Accurately documenting test results and preparing reports.
- **Equipment Maintenance and Calibration**: Maintaining, calibrating, and repairing lab equipment, including instruments and tools.
- **Troubleshooting and Diagnostics**: Identifying and resolving electrical issues with components and systems.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and regulations within the lab.
- **Experiment and Test Setup**: Preparing samples, equipment, and test setups for experiments.
- **Documentation and Record Keeping**: Maintaining detailed records of experiments, test results, and lab procedures.
- **Collaboration**: Working with engineers and other technicians on projects.
- **Inventory Management**: Assisting with ordering, receiving, and managing lab supplies and equipment.
- **Wiring and Prototyping**: Assisting with wiring electrical equipment, electronics, and sensors, as well as building prototypes from schematics.

**Required Skills**:

- Strong understanding of electrical principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment and tools.
- Ability to read and understand schematics and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in using various testing instruments like oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
