Accounts Officer

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
Manage Import-Export Operations:
Oversee and coordinate all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and customs procedures.

Prepare and review import-export documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, customs declarations, and shipping documents.

Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping agents to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Monitor and track shipments to ensure compliance with delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise.

Financial Transaction Management:
Maintain accurate financial records related to import-export operations, including purchase orders, invoices, shipping costs, and customs duties.

Process and reconcile financial transactions, such as payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Monitor and manage foreign currency transactions, exchange rates, and hedging activities.

Prepare financial reports and statements related to import-export activities for management review.

Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
Stay up-to-date with import-export regulations, customs laws, and trade agreements to ensure compliance.

Liaise with customs authorities, banks, and other relevant regulatory bodies to resolve any compliance-related issues.

Assist in conducting internal audits to ensure adherence to financial, customs, and import-export regulations.

Implement internal control measures to mitigate financial and operational risks.

Relationship Management:
Collaborate with internal departments, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to ensure seamless import-export operations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, customs officials, and financial institutions.

Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other service providers.

Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for trade finance requirements, such as letters of credit, bank guarantees, and financing arrangements.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven work experience as an Accounts Officer or a similar role, preferably in the import-export industry.

In-depth knowledge of import-export operations, customs procedures, and banking finance.

Familiarity with relevant import-export regulations, trade agreements, and customs laws.

Strong financial acumen and proficiency in financial management systems and tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
