YWCA of Bombay is engaged in various community service programs, vocational training programs, Balwadis, and Daycare centers for underprivileged women and children. We also, cater to working women through Hostels and Guest houses.

**Position: Program Secretary for PIYA Department**

**Job Profile Program Secretary for PIYA Department**

**1) **To be responsible for the development of Participation & Involvement of Youth in Action (PIYA) in the association.

**2) **In consultation with the General Secretary and the PIYA Committee to plan and carry out a balanced and progressive programme of activities, and organize events and sessions accordingly

**3) **Plan monthly programmes with Chairperson and assist in organizing all planned programmes of the Association.

**4) **Networking with other NGOs and attend their programmes whenever required.

**5) **To present regular Reports and Statements of Accounts to the PIYA Committee, General Secretary and the Board of Management (BOM)

**6) **To be responsible for all correspondence in connection with PIYA activities.

**7) **To maintain Records and Registers, to receive fees and subscriptions to distribute/dispatch monthly news sheet and other literature from time to time.

**8) **Work in co-operation for the smooth and efficient running of the PIYA Department.

**9) **To attend Staff, Committee Meetings whenever required.

**10) **Help in planning Programmes for Youth etc.

**11) **Make a sincere effort to get committed members for the YWCA especially in all areas.

**12) **Willing to undertake any other assignments given by the General Secretary and Board of Management.
