Quantity Surveyor

**Role: Civil Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor**

**Role Definition**:
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to manage our various Industrial, Warehousing and other projects and able to analyze budgets and prepare quantity estimates

**Qualification**:Graduate (B.Tech - Civil/B.E) or similar qualification - from recognized university.

**Experience**:Minimum 3 years experience in similar job position

**Requirements**:
1. Experience in handling Steel Building Projects (PEB) like Industrial units and Warehouses is a must

2. He should be able to do Tendering process, BOQ preparation, measurement & billing

3. Knowledge in cross checking structural consultants drawings for errors and omissions

4. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

5. Organize, planning and strategy making capability

6. Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
- **Preferences**:
Experience of working in an Architectural/Engineering firm will be strongly preferred
- Should be staying within 40 to 45 minutes distance from South Extn, New Delhi

**Responsibilities**:
1. Acting as an interface between the client, contractors and consultants to resolve all project issues and arrive at optimal solutions.

2. Co-ordination with sub consultants and follow ups with them for drawings/BOQ etc.

3. Undertake cost analysis

4. Perform risk and value management and cost control

5. Accomplishing site visits in Delhi NCR & PAN India (1-2 days) for different projects and preparing relevant documentation including agenda, site visit reports and minutes of meetings.

6. Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other) and prepare a detailed report

7. Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders

8. Monitor progress and compile reports in project status

9. Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required

**Tasks & Activities**
- _Pre-construction Stage Activities:_
- _Deriving cost estimates of the project for an initial level analysis._
- _Drafting Letter of Intent for contractors and consultants as per the project requirement._
- _Preparing estimates & bar charts that are required for the smooth execution of the project._
- _Preparation of tenders and BOQs for various contractual activities_
- _Ensuring the timely issuance of various drawings to the site for smooth execution of work with the help of architects, engineers and consultants._
- **Construction Stage Activities**:_
- _Maintaining the record of approvals received from the client, contractors, consultants, etc._
- _Keeping track of project cost, quality, safety, schedule, resources, etc. over the duration of the project. Taking remedial measures for contingencies._
- **Closure Stage Activities**:_
- _Completion of all the activities mentioned in the snag list._
- _Verification of extra items in the final bill and performing rate analysis._
- _Reconciliation of free of cost materials as spent by the client._
- _Collecting completion certificate and arranging professional photography of the site -for our portfolio_

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
