**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day QA activities, including documentation control, batch record review, change control, and deviation management.
- Perform risk assessments and assist in developing and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address quality issues.
- Participate in the development, review, and approval of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other quality documents.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Support and participate in regulatory audits and inspections by agencies such as the National Drug Authority (NDA) in Uganda.
- Assist in the qualification and validation of equipment, processes, and analytical methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and regulatory affairs, to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on quality-related topics, including GMP, SOPs, and quality awareness.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in pharmaceutical quality assurance.

**Requirements**:

- A Pharmacy or Science graduate qualification is required.
- Three to five years of experience in pharmaceutical QA activities is necessary.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in quality management systems, documentation control, validations, and in-process quality assurance (IPQA).
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and guidelines, including those set by the National Drug Authority (NDA) in Uganda.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to review and analyze complex documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address quality issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with quality management software or systems is a plus.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
