Job Title: Agronomy Officer

Position Type: Full time

Location: Bhubaneswar/Brahmapur

Position Reports to: COO/ Farm/Agronomy manager

No. of positions 3 no.s of positions

Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Seed & nursery operations handling & management

2. Training farm team and ensuring good crop management practices

3. Markeing to farmers and farmer agents

4. Vendor discussions and procurement of items

5. Trading operations handling & management

6. Audit and quality control of entire farm operations and output

7. Any other suitable and appropriate activities for the business

Travel Expected: Local travel as necessary

Qualification & Skill Requirements:
Bachelors/ Masters in Horticulture/ Vegetable sciences/ Hydroponics

Microsoft Office, Good in quantitative skills & logical reasoning

Skill set matching with realestate and business development

Work Experience: Not mandatory but experienced will be more preferred

Bonus Skills/ Experience: Exposure to vegetable seeds, farming, seedling, trading

Language: English, Hindi, Odia

Salary & Benefits: 1. Fixed gross salary of Rs. 20,000 per month + office will provide accommodation worth Rs. 2,000 per month for rural posting

2. Fixed loyalty bonus of Rs. 30,000 payable at the end of the year (Rs.30,000 per annum)

Variable performance bonus of up to Rs. 60,000 per annum payable at the end of the year

depending on the performance of individual and company (Upto Rs. 60,000 per annum)

If performance found suitable for fast track progression, then:
1. 3 months probation period will be applied

2. Fixed gross salary of Rs. 25,000 per month

3. No separate accommodation will be provided by the office

4. Bonus terms remain same as above
