Responsibilities
- Assemble optical devices and instruments according to specifications.
- Test and calibrate optical equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Repair and maintain optical devices, including lenses and microscopes.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with optical equipment.
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on product development.
- Perform routine maintenance on optical devices to ensure optimal performance.
- Document all work performed, including repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure all products meet quality and performance standards.
- Use precision tools and equipment, such as microscopes and calipers.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in optical technology.
- Provide technical support and training to other team members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in the development of new optical products and technologies.
- Conduct quality control inspections on finished products.
- Order and manage inventory of optical components and supplies.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Complete all required training and certifications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
- Previous experience as an Optical Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of optical technology and principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work with small, delicate components.
- Proficiency with precision tools and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage inventory.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime or on weekends if required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Completion of relevant training and certifications.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
