Responsibilities Assemble optical devices and instruments according to specifications Test and calibrate optical equipment to ensure proper functionality Repair and maintain optical devices including lenses and microscopes Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with optical equipment Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on product development Perform routine maintenance on optical devices to ensure optimal performance Document all work performed including repairs and maintenance Ensure all products meet quality and performance standards Use precision tools and equipment such as microscopes and calipers Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times Stay up-to-date with advancements in optical technology Provide technical support and training to other team members Maintain a clean and organized work environment Assist in the development of new optical products and technologies Conduct quality control inspections on finished products Order and manage inventory of optical components and supplies Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements Adhere to company policies and procedures Complete all required training and certifications Perform other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent technical degree preferred Previous experience as an Optical Technician or similar role Strong understanding of optical technology and principles Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to work with small delicate components Proficiency with precision tools and equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication and teamwork abilities Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies Strong organizational skills and ability to manage inventory Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work overtime or on weekends if required Valid driver s license and reliable transportation Completion of relevant training and certifications Job Type Full-time Pay 14 000 00 - 16 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Supplemental Pay Performance bonus Experience watch technician 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
