Job Description: Receptionist
Position Summary:
The receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. This role involves managing front desk operations, handling communication, and supporting administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Front Desk Management:
Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and staff professionally.
Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
2. Communication:
Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to appropriate departments.
3. Visitor Coordination:
Schedule and manage appointments.
Maintain visitor logs and issue badges as needed.
4. Administrative Support:
Assist with filing, photocopying, and data entry.
Coordinate courier services and manage incoming/outgoing mail.
5. Customer Service:
Address inquiries and provide information about services and policies.
Resolve minor issues or escalate them to appropriate personnel.
6. Other Duties:
Support other departments with administrative tasks as required.
Ensure security protocols are followed at the front desk.
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications are a plus.
Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Friendly, professional demeanor with a customer-focused approach.
