We are looking for a skilled **Quantity Surveyor & Purchase Manager** to join our growing team, playing a pivotal role in cost management, procurement, and ensuring that project resources are optimized for timely and quality execution.

As a **Quantity Surveyor & Purchase Manager**, you will manage both cost estimation and procurement processes for our projects, ensuring financial efficiency and timely delivery of resources. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and maintaining the overall budget without compromising on quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities:

- **Cost Estimation & Analysis**: Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for construction projects.
- **Budget Management**: Monitor and control project costs, track variations, and ensure adherence to budget plans.
- **Valuations & Payments**: Assess work completed and process payments for contractors/subcontractors. Prepare interim and final valuations.
- **Cost Reporting**: Provide regular cost reports, updating project managers and leadership on financial progress.
- **Contractual Guidance**: Offer advice on contract matters, assisting in resolution of disputes and ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- **Site Inspections**: Conduct on-site inspections to ensure work is completed to specifications and in line with contractual agreements.

Purchase Manager Responsibilities:

- **Procurement**: Source and procure materials, equipment, and services needed for construction projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchases.
- **Supplier Relations**: Develop and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and evaluate performance to ensure quality and reliability.
- **Inventory & Resource Management**: Maintain appropriate stock levels and track inventory to ensure availability of materials as per project requirements.
- **Cost Control**: Align purchasing activities with budget and project timelines to optimize costs and avoid unnecessary expenditure.
- **Vendor Audits**: Conduct audits of vendor contracts and performance to ensure compliance and favorable terms.
- **Purchase Orders & Logistics**: Oversee the processing of purchase orders and coordinate deliveries to ensure materials are available on-site when needed.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Additional qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Purchasing are preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying and purchasing within the construction industry.
- **Contract Knowledge**: Strong understanding of construction contracts, such as FIDIC and JCT, and familiarity with legal and financial aspects of construction management.
- **Software Proficiency**: Skilled in using estimation software, MS Excel, and inventory management tools.
- **Negotiation & Communication**: Strong negotiation abilities for dealing with vendors, suppliers, and contractors, along with excellent communication skills for team coordination.
- **Attention to Detail**: High level of accuracy in estimating, budgeting, and purchasing processes.
- **Problem-Solving**: Capable of identifying and resolving budgetary and procurement challenges.
