**Name of the Position**: Field Investigator / Research Associate

**Location** - Mumbai (Andheri)

The organization has had thirty years of experience delivering meaningful change in the lives of those who most need help. It has been funded to do this work by major international and domestic institutions like Oxfam, Soldiered Network, and the Indian Army. It is currently undertaking a major project on girl’s safety through ground-breaking research, government interventions, prosecution, community programs, rehabilitation programs, technology solutions, and other integrated cross disciplinary interventions that achieve a holistic impact on this problem. They are focused on the empowerment of girls and women to live safe and happy lives where they are growing into their fullest potential.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Understanding the field research activities.
- Planning field research as per the outcome required/Objectives identified.
- Interacting with relevant people during field research to derive responses.
- Assist in formulating and reviewing research reports pertaining to team activities.
- Compile, analyze data points and create detailed reports of findings
- Simplify findings into presentations
- Implement tests of processes, policies, and protocols
- Recommend changes and improvements based on research findings
- Write reports, white papers, and other published documents
- Help and assist Senior Analysts in data analysis.
- Involves extensive field work, Information collection, Data gathering
- Data reporting, document maintenance, and data representation in the necessary formats.
- A team player with the capacity to adhere to procedures and protocol
- Able to assess risk, evaluate and is able to respond quickly
- Confident, self-aware and willing to work under challenging circumstances
- Flexible to work within different Area of Operations
- Good communication skills in Local language (Marathi, Hindi, and English)

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- Experience conducting field research in any industry, whether it be rural, urban, or both
- Understands Local language
- Flexible to travel and conduct field work on a regular/daily basis
- Should be young, smart and risk taker
- Confident and adaptable
