**Your role**:

- Monitor and maintain SQL Server databases (2012 and above).
- Perform routine database backups, restores, and recovery procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues using tools like SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and DMVs.
- Implement and maintain database security (roles, permissions, encryption).
- Assist in database deployments, patching, and upgrades.
- Design and implement high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions (AlwaysOn, Log Shipping, Replication, Clustering).

**Your profile**:

- 4 - 12 years experience as SQL Database Administraton.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2012-2019/2022).
- Proficiency in T-SQL, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Understanding of database backup strategies and recovery models.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Redgate, SolarWinds, SentryOne).
