**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and manage SQL Server databases across development, testing, and production environments.
- Monitor system health and performance, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security.
- Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks using SQL Profiler and performance monitoring tools.
- Optimize SQL queries, indexes, and database structures to ensure efficiency.
- Implement and manage regular backups, restorations, and disaster recovery plans.
- Troubleshoot database issues, including data integrity and corruption problems.
- Manage database security by implementing and enforcing security policies (e.g., user roles, privileges, and authentication).
- Ensure databases are compliant with regulatory and company-specific requirements.
- Assist in database design, including creating tables, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Collaborate with development teams on data modeling and schema design.
- Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to SQL Server instances.
- Plan and execute database migration tasks when needed.
- Develop and implement scripts and tools to automate common DBA tasks, such as monitoring and alerts.
- Schedule and automate regular maintenance jobs (e.g., backups, indexing).
- Maintain and document database standards, procedures, and processes.
- Create technical documentation for internal teams and end-users.

**Experience**:

- 2+ years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2012/2016/2019+ preferred).
