Primary Responsibilities:

- **Inspection and Preparation**:

- Inspect loads for stability and weight to ensure safety during lifting operations.
- Prepare rigging equipment, including ropes, chains, slings, and other tools.
- **Setup and Alignment**:

- Set, align, and level heavy machinery and loads as per operational requirements.
- Ensure proper attachment and balance of loads using certified lifting tools.
- **Execution of Lifting Operations**:

- Direct crane operators during lifting activities to ensure precise and safe movements.
- Use fixed and portable lifting equipment to move heavy loads according to safety guidelines.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Verify that all rigging equipment meets certification and safety standards.
- Follow industry and company safety regulations throughout rigging operations.
- **Communication**:

- Maintain clear communication with crane operators, supervisors, and team members to coordinate movements and minimize risks.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of load capacities and machinery handling.
- Certification in rigging and lifting operations is often required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and load charts.
