**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress websites and themes..
- Implement custom plugins or modify existing plugins as needed.
- Troubleshoot and fix issues related to WordPress functionality, themes, and plugins.

**Theme Customization & Development**:

- Customize pre-built WordPress themes to meet specific client requirements.
- Create custom WordPress themes from scratch based on design mockups or client specifications.

**Plugin Integration & Development**:

- Integrate third-party plugins for enhanced website functionality (e.g., SEO, eCommerce, social media, etc.).
- Develop custom plugins to meet specific project needs.

**Performance Optimization**:

- Optimize website speed and performance using best practices (e.g., caching, image optimization, lazy loading).
- Conduct regular website audits to ensure smooth operation and troubleshoot any performance issues.

**Client Communication**:

- Regularly communicate with clients to understand their requirements and provide project updates.
- Offer technical advice and guidance on WordPress-related issues.
- Review client feedback and make necessary revisions to websites and projects.

**Security & Backup Management**:

- Implement security measures to safeguard websites from common threats.
- Set up and manage regular website backups to prevent data loss.

**Collaborate with Design and Marketing Teams**:

- Work closely with designers to ensure the website design matches the functionality.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure sites meet specific campaign or promotional goals.

**Troubleshooting & Support**:

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing WordPress websites.
- Resolve issues related to hosting, domain setup, or general WordPress problems.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Experience**:

- At least 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering WordPress websites from concept to launch.

**Technical Skills**:

- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with theme development, customization, and building responsive layouts.
- In-depth knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Strong understanding of WordPress REST API (optional but a plus).

**Tools & Platforms**:

- Familiarity with popular page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery or Gutenberg.
- Experience with popular eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce and Shopify integration.
- Understanding of web hosting platforms and managing websites on cPanel or similar tools.
- Proficient in using SEO tools like Yoast SEO or All in One SEO.
