C11 - Officer Governance & Controls

**Overview**:
This position works within the Model Governance & Control team to help coordinate key activities globally across 700+ credit risk models. This role is part of In-Business Franchise Risk, and the position supports governance activities across the Risk Modeling Utility with additional collaboration with US Personal Bank & Wealth Management Organization. The primary task is to help ensure all credit risk models are compliant with external regulatory (OCC, FRB, CFPB) & internal Citi policy/procedures as well as Citi’s control framework.

**General responsibilities**:

- Project management surrounding deliverables for and coordinate engagement of external regulators (OCC, FRB, etc.) and internal Audit to evidence transparent and robust compliance with policies and procedures.
- Assist to document required control (e.g. EUC and MCA/ARCM) artifacts are evidenced and reported on at a utility level.
- Ensure that outstanding issues (e.g. MRM Limitations, CAPS, or regulatory findings) are identified, tracked and reported at the utility level
- Assist with management of utility wide policies and procedures; coordinate with various modeling teams to ensure team specific procedures are consistent with utility wide policy and procedures; manage repository containing utility wide and team specific policies and procedures.
- Compile material to support the model sponsor semi-annual attestation process
- Coordinate to ensure on-time and quality submissions of Ongoing Performance Assessments (OPAs), Annual Model Reviews (AMRs), Model Change Addendums (CAs) and limitations for all models in responsibility scope through the Model Risk Management tracking platform (iMRMS)
- Engage with business risk team to complete regular risk and control monitoring Activity Risk Control Monitoring (ARCM) assessments.
- Ad-hoc reporting as required to evaluate and benchmark the business as well as Special analysis for use by managers.
- Document and assist to coordinate with Independent Risk, Model Risk Management, and other 2nd Line of Defense teams to communicate on-going monitoring results highlighting risks associated with model deterioration as well as ensure models are developed and used in compliance with Global Risk and external regulatory guidelines.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years relevant experience in some analytical capacity required.
- Communication skills both verbal and written are essential.
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite including strong analytical skills and working knowledge of Excel/pivot tables and PowerPoint to create reports and build presentations to effectively communicate technical information to a wide audience.
- Data mining within excel is a plus+.
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Advanced SAS/SQL, Tableau, Access, Microsoft Project, or similar programs is a plus.
- Experience working in a UNIX platform is a plus.
- Recognize effective performance tracking to confirm adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements including performance implications of such policy/actions.
- Ability to successfully engage cross functionally - both projects and teams, including country/region’s business stakeholders, model validation and governance teams, and other global function.

**Education**:
Masters Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative disciplines.
