**Tool & Die Maker Job Description**

We are looking for a skilled *TOOL & DIE MAKER* at HUBLIT, based in DELHI, India to craft dies and metal tools for our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be required to interpret design schematics, cut and shape dies, and assemble the completed parts. You will also need to test the performance of the completed product.

**Job Responsibilities and our expectations**:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints, design schematics, and CAD drawings.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to create detailed designs for precision tools, dies, Molds, and fixtures. Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to develop accurate and precise plans that guide the manufacturing process.
- Utilize a variety of machining tools and equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines, to shape and form raw materials like metal, plastic, and composites into intricate components according to design specifications.
- Visualizing and computing metal shapes and tolerances.
- Utilize hand and machine tools to assemble parts of tools and dies and to repair and modify gauges, jigs, and dies.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other manufacturing professionals to discuss design changes, improvements, and modifications. Provide valuable input to optimize the manufacturing process and enhance product quality.
- Designing jigs and templates as work aids in the fabrication of parts.
- Measuring and marking metal stock for machining.
- Setting up machine tools such as drills, lathes, grinders, and milling machines.
- Cutting and shaping blocks to specified dimensions.
- Filling, grinding, and shimming metals to ensure a smooth finish.
- Fitting and assembling tools and die parts.
- Inspecting finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities.
- Conducting test runs with completed tools and dies.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Experience working as a tool and die maker.
- In-depth knowledge of machine tools and their uses.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design schematics.
- Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes etc.
- Experience with quality control analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Tactical execution capability to deliver the results on time. Good organization awareness to work under matrix organization structure.

**Tools of the Trade**:

- In addition to working with their hands, tool and die makers work with:

- Measuring Tools (callipers, micrometres, scales, height gauges)
- Computer Drafting Software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, other CAD programs)
- Microsoft Software (Office, Excel)

**Pay Range**:

- Ranging from Rs 20,000 - 40000
- Working Days: Monday-Saturday

**Salary**: ₹13,204.63 - ₹40,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- total work: 5 years (preferred)
