**About the Role**

We are looking for a **Database & Data Infrastructure Engineer** with strong experience in **PostgreSQL administration** and data layer technologies. The role involves managing PostgreSQL databases on EC2, working with tools like **PGBouncer, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis**, and supporting our transition to **AWS managed services (RDS, MSK, SQS, ElastiCache)**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and optimize **PostgreSQL databases** (backups, recovery, performance tuning).
- Troubleshoot **replication and cluster connectivity issues**.
- Configure and maintain **PGBouncer, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis, TimescaleDB**.
- Plan and execute **database migrations and upgrades**.
- Support migration from **self-managed EC2 instances to AWS managed services**.
- Set up monitoring, alerts, and ensure database health.

**Required Skills & Experience**
- 3+ years of **PostgreSQL DBA** experience.
- Strong in **Linux/EC2 system administration**.
- Hands-on with **PGBouncer, Redis, RabbitMQ, Kafka**.
- Basic knowledge of **AWS services (EC2, RDS, SQS, MSK, IAM, VPC)**.
- Scripting skills (Bash/Python) for automation.
- Good troubleshooting, performance optimization, and documentation skills.

Pay: Up to ₹1,100,000.00 per year
