**Primary skills**:Postgres ql, RDS, DB Admin, AWS and Azure, Migration(On prem to cloud)

**JOB DESCRIPTION **:Looking for hybrid cloud PostgreSQL Database Administrator in Data Platforms team for managing crit-ical Databases in a global 24x7 environment with hands-on experience managing databases on public cloud platforms
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), including cloud DB technologies (RDS, Aurora)
- Experience in Implementing database design
- Worked on PostgreSQL server configuration for different types of workload environments
- Experience in Performance tuning and Health Checkup of PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience in setup hot standby.
- Experience in setup AD integration.
- Sound knowledge in Database Backup, Restore and Disaster Recovery procedures
- Experience in PostgreSQL db upgrade.
- Experience in backup and recovery Procedure including
- Experience in point in time recovery.
- Drive end-to-end availability, performance monitoring, and capacity planning for PostgreSQL, using different tools.
- Experience in complex queries writing, optimization, creating procedure and functions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching and collaborating.
- Good communication skill.
- Ready to work under strict timelines.
