Job Description: Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

Sturdy Groups, a prominent company in the construction and interior industry, is seeking a reliable and proactive Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team in Bangalore. As a key member of our office, you will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring the smooth functioning of our office operations. This role requires excellent communication skills (English and Kannada), multitasking abilities, and a friendly and professional demeanor.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Greet and welcome visitors with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression of the company.

2. Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and providing information as needed.

3. Assist with office administration tasks, including managing correspondence, coordinating meetings, and maintaining office supplies.

4. Conduct pre-sales calls to potential clients, introducing our products/services and scheduling appointments for the sales team.

5. Monitor and maintain employee attendance records, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.

6. Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries, distributing them to the appropriate recipients.

7. Assist in organizing and scheduling appointments, conferences, and travel arrangements.

8. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring it reflects a professional and welcoming atmosphere.

9. Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, including data entry, filing, and document preparation.

10. Collaborate with the HR team to assist in new employee onboarding and maintaining employee records.

11. Handle customer inquiries and provide basic information about the company's products and services.

12. Assist with ad-hoc projects and assignments as assigned by the management team.

**Requirements**:
1. Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role.

2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.

4. Proficient in using office software and equipment, including MS Office.

5. Pleasant and professional demeanor with the ability to handle various tasks with efficiency and professionalism.

6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

7. Proactive and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

8. Prior experience in pre-sales activities or customer service is an advantage.

9. Knowledge of office management and basic accounting procedures is a plus.

10. Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
