**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching and Instruction**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons on geography topics such as physical geography, human geography, environmental systems, and global issues.
- Use diverse teaching methods and materials, including lectures, discussions, multimedia, and hands-on activities, to cater to various learning styles.
- Integrate technology and modern tools to enhance lesson delivery and student engagement.
- **Curriculum Development**:

- Develop lesson plans in alignment with the curriculum standards and learning objectives.
- Create and update teaching resources, including maps, diagrams, and interactive activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development and planning for geography programs.
- **Student Assessment**:

- Design and administer assessments such as quizzes, tests, projects, and presentations to evaluate student understanding and progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their knowledge and skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Establish and maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Address classroom behavior issues promptly and effectively.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated on advancements in geography and innovative teaching practices.
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, teaching strategies, and resources.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and concerns.
- **Additional Duties**:

- Organize and lead field trips or geography-related activities to enhance experiential learning.
- Participate in class events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Educational Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- **Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of geographical concepts, theories, and practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop an interest in geography.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- **Experience**:

- Prior teaching experience in geography or related fields is preferred.
- Experience organizing field trips or hands-on geography projects is an advantage.

Pay: ₹230.83 - ₹600.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift

- Making lesson Plans: 1 year (preferred)
