**The Tata Medical Centre and the Tata Translational Cancer Research Centre**

The Tata Medical Centre (TMC) is a multispecialty institution for tertiary cancer care

based in New Town, Kolkata. At TMC, clinical and research activities are integrated

to provide state-of-the-art care for patients with cancer. This integration is enabled by

the Tata Translational Cancer Research Centre (TTCRC), the research arm of TMC.

TTCRC is within a dedicated academic space and spread over 3 floors. At TTCRC, a

multidisciplinary team of clinicians, scientists, academics and industry professionals

collaborate to develop a systems medicine approach in cancer research. This approach

is focussed on developing innovative, indigenous, cost-effective and equitable

strategies to improve cancer diagnosis; develop treatments that match disease

characteristics and are adapted to treatment response; and, identify prognostic and

predictive disease biomarkers. These strategies are multi-dimensional and involve an

iterative pathway that include clinical studies, high-throughput laboratory

investigations, computational strategies to integrate, analyse and model data,

hypothesis-based pre-clinical studies and evidence-based translation of findings to

We have a dedicated Clinical Trials Unit, which works alongside the clinical team to

run clinical trials and national and International collaborative projects. This post is for

the multicentre study “ICiCLe-ALL-24 - The Indian Collaborative Childhood

Leukaemia Randomised Trial for Children and Adolescents with Acute Lymphoblastic

Leukaemia 2024”.

The Project Technical Support III position** **plays a crucial role in shaping the direction

and success of clinical and health services research projects. This position requires

expertise in scientific research, good organizational skills, and the ability to navigate

complex regulatory environments.***

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Act as a central liaison among various sites involved in the study, and

facilitate effective communication and collaboration across these sites to

ensure smooth operation and alignment with the study's goals.
- Organise and manage comprehensive training programs, workshops and

seminars for study personnel in study protocols, data collection procedures,

and regulatory compliance.
- Develop innovative training materials and delivery methods to enhance

understanding and compliance among site staff.
- Regularly monitor compliance to Good Clinical Practice, and implement

corrective measures when necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including study investigators,

researchers, data managers, and analysts.
- Provide protocol support to the site clinical team.
- Site clinical data management and patient tracker management.
- Analysis of clinical data.

**Minimum required qualifications/experience**:

- For Engineering/ IT/ CS- First class four years graduate degree** + **three years’

experience***

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within

multidisciplinary teams.
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team with outstanding multi-tasking skills
- Computer and database knowledge

**Appointment**:
**Upper Age Limit: 35**

Duration: Initially for a period of one year extendable for further project period

Consolidated Salary: Rs. 36,400. The position is funded by Indian Council of

Medical research (ICMR). The successful applicant will be managed by and report to

the CTU Manager.
