Key responsibilities of a UK payroll role:

- **Calculating payroll**:
Accurately calculate employee wages, including overtime, bonuses, and deductions like income tax, National Insurance contributions, pension contributions, and any other applicable deductions based on timesheets and employee data.
- **Processing statutory payments**:
Manage statutory payments such as Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), and Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP).
- **Data entry and maintenance**:
Input employee payroll data into the payroll system, ensuring accuracy and updating employee details as needed.
- **Payslip generation**:
Prepare and distribute payslips to employees, including details of earnings, deductions, and tax information.
- **Compliance with HMRC regulations**:
Adhere to all UK payroll regulations and deadlines for submitting payroll information to HMRC through Real Time Information (RTI).
- **Year-end processing**:
Prepare and submit year-end payroll reports, including P60s (annual tax certificates) and P11Ds (benefit in kind forms).
- **Pension administration**:
Manage employee pension contributions, including auto-enrolment processes, and liaise with pension providers.
- **Query resolution**:
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll deductions, payslips, and tax calculations.
- **System management**:
Maintain and update payroll software, ensuring it is functioning properly and reflecting current legislation.
- **Reporting and analysis**:
Generate payroll reports for management, including summaries of earnings, deductions, and tax liabilities.

**Required skills and qualifications**:

- Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE (Pay As You Earn) system and National Insurance contributions.
- Experience with payroll software and systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Numerical skills for calculations and reconciliations
- Good communication skills to address employee queries
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Job location : Rajkot

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
