The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is an entry level position responsible for assisting in providing management with an analysis and insight of Citi’s financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to utilize knowledge to create reports/analyses that gauge Citi’s alignment with forecasted performance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with reviewing Citi’s financial performance
- Assist with flash results and related highlights
- Facilitate various ad hoc analyses
- Aid in the annual planning and periodic forecasting processes and review results against plans monthly
- Aid analysis by using metrics to evaluate proposed business decisions

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in accounting and/or finance field
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Planning FP&A EDS team provides the Citi CEO, Citi CFO, FP&A head and other senior management with analysis and insight into Citi’s financial results. Through this analysis, the team facilitates decision making for Citigroup, including lower level businesses, at the senior levels to drive performance in each of Citi’s products, regions & functions and also for use with external analysts and investors. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, monthly performance analysis for the regulators, Board of Directors and senior management. The team also supports the annual operating plan, monthly outlooks, Weekly Financial Update, and QMMF to drive the long-term performance of the company
