We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of **AVP - MSS G&F - NFR CoE GSC's**

**In this role, you will**:
**The Opportunity**:
The role holder will be part of the Global MSS NFR team, ensuring the adequacy and efficacy of the overall control environment.The role holder will be responsible for NFR governance pack production and will support the wider MSS NFR teams in managing various risk and control tasks for MSS across all locations globally.

**What you’ll do**:

- Production of NFR Governance Packs including MI reporting globally for MSS - ensuring the data is sourced accurately and efficiently and presented in a professional and timely manner to facilitate effective risk governance
- Identifying and implementing continuous improvement in data sourcing and data output to ensure risks, controls, issues and actions are accurately reported in NFR Packs.
- Identifying trends in the data providing accurate executive summaries of large data sets to ensure messaging about the risks impacting MSS are clear
- Ensure all queries from stakeholders are dealt with in a complete and timely fashion.
- Support other specific tasks or projects related to Governance Packs or other initiatives within the G&F team
- Ensure adherence to correct HSBC processes and protocols
Requirements

**To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field such as business or finance;
- Good understanding of Risk and Control framework and the operational aspects underpinning Control processes
- Previous experience in Audit, Business Management or Risk/Control roles within a Markets business.
- Proficient in Advanced Excel and other MS Office tools, VBA and MS Access Database skills.
- Proficient in data visualization /analytical tools like Qliksense Dashbords, Tableau
- Previous experience in implementing process improvements
