**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
- Responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in their area of expertise.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress through assessments and feedback.
- To engage in scholarly research or creative activities in their field.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay updated with teaching methodologies.
- To participate in departmental committees, attend faculty meetings, and contribute to the academic community by engaging in service activities.
- Maintain proper and timely record of all Academic activities.
- To assist in the development of learning materials, teaching methods, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
- Keeping abreast of new knowledge and skills, help to generate new knowledge and help dissemination of such knowledge through books, publications, seminars, handouts etc.
- Policy planning, monitoring and evaluation and promotional activities; both at department level and institution level.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s degree in English or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) is preferred.
- Minimum 5-10 years of teaching experience at the Senior secondary or higher education level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a motivating and inclusive learning environment.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools.
