**Job Title**: Carnatic Vocalist**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities:Performance**:

- Deliver high-quality Carnatic vocal performances at concerts, festivals, and cultural events.
- Sing compositions across various Carnatic styles, such as kritis, varnams, and ragam-tanam-pallavi (RTP).
- Collaborate with instrumental accompanists (violin, mridangam, etc.) to create harmonious and engaging performances.
- Participate in recordings or virtual performances to reach wider audiences.

**Teaching and Mentorship**:

- Provide structured lessons to students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced learners.
- Teach Carnatic music theory, voice training, and improvisation techniques (manodharma).
- Help students prepare for performances, exams, and competitions.
- Instill an understanding of the cultural and spiritual significance of Carnatic music.

**Creative and Cultural Contribution**:

- Compose or innovate within the framework of Carnatic music to contribute to its evolution.
- Promote the art form through workshops, lecture demonstrations, or community events.
- Research and document rare compositions or traditional practices to preserve heritage.

**Professional Development and Collaboration**:

- Stay updated on trends and developments in Carnatic music and related art forms.
- Collaborate with other musicians, dancers, and cultural organizations to create multidisciplinary performances.
- Actively participate in Carnatic music forums, competitions, and conferences.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 2 per week
