Charge entry is the set of processes by which charges for medical procedures and other services; medical centers provide to patients are collected and submitted to the corresponding payors. Charge entry involves detailed accounting for services rendered and the initial intake of information from patients like the demographics, name, insurance eligibility, payment options and health history.

The charge entry process is not limited to the collection of information and service provided but also to analyzing and preparing for the next step of the revenue cycle, **medical billing**. That’s why charge entry is crucial and notable in medical billing to receive reimbursements. Well, how to implement a perfect charge entry submission to the medical billing team? Before that, you need to be clear about the steps involved in the charge entry.

Payment posting **allows medical practices to receive full payment in the most expeditious manner possible**. ➤ Claims are logged into the billing software, insurance payments are posted against claims, patients are billed for outstanding amounts, and patient payments are posted against outstanding balances.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
