- Define the architecture of a solution elaborated in a program or a project leveraging existing patterns. -Contribute to the development of architectural standards, and the direction and design of architecture for a business or technical domain. Contribute to efforts to elaborate and communicate the architecture of the given domain and/or develop architectural solutions for projects and programs -Individual contributor or leading teams. Engaging with mutiple stakeholders ( architecture/ infrastructure /vendor partners)medium to large sized complexity of projects -Skilled in a multiple tecnology areas and mutiple business focus -Driving successful execution based on agreed solution architecture design. Managing complexities of multiple solution components / coordination across diverse stakeholder groups

**About the Role**:
**Job Title : Assoc. Dir. Funct. Security Architect**:

- Location : India- Provides in-depth expertise to business leaders and technical audiances about cybersecurity best practices for financial, H/R and global operations.
- Advise to engineering and website development teams about approved security patterns and practices.
- Reviews, and challenges defined IT security related internal standards for the ongoing improvement of Novartis policies and proceedures
- Acts as single point of contact, collaborating closely with other Security Architects and IT Architects on IT security related matters
- Defines pragmatic solutions and recommends alternatives that meet or exceed security requirements
- Reports on security status of projects
- Builds external network regarding IT security relevant to the business function
- Performs risk/threat assessment of all IT project related to the function
- Manages pool of external security and solution architects assigned to portfolio
- Manages prioritization of security assessment for the function

Role Requirements
- 7+ years work experience, 5 years within Information Security management.
- 5+ years as an IT security expert
- Experience with SAP and Workday are essential.
- Expert knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure technology, systems, vulnerability management, and change management processes, especially in large scale implementations- Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:
