CNC/vmc Setter

**Reports to**: Plant Head
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Machine Setup**:
- Prepare CNC/VMC machines for operation by installing and aligning fixtures, tools, and materials.
- Load and verify CNC programs as per production requirements.
- **Production Support**:
- Ensure machines are operating at optimal efficiency with mínimal downtime.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as needed to maintain product specifications.
- **Quality Assurance**:
- Perform first-piece inspection and in-process checks using measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Ensure components are produced as per quality standards and drawing specifications.
- **Maintenance & Troubleshooting**:
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on machines.
- Report any mechanical issues or abnormalities to the maintenance team.
- **Documentation & Compliance**:
- Maintain proper records of setup sheets, inspection reports, and job cards.
- Follow all safety and operational procedures on the shop floor.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related field.
- **Experience**: 1-5 years of experience in CNC/VMC machine setting.
- **Skills**:
- Hands-on experience in CNC/VMC setting and minor programming.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with tools and gauges for inspection.
