Company Description We are a precision components manufacturing company specializing in valve and engineering parts. We are looking for a skilled CNC/VMC Setter cum Operator to join our production team.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Setter cum Operator / VMC Setter cum Operator located in Coimbatore. The role involves setting up and operating CNC and VMC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring efficient machining processes. Day-to-day tasks include machine programming, and monitoring operations to ensure quality output and adherence to production schedules.Roles and Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC/VMC machines as per the production plan.Load tools, fixtures, and programs according to job requirements.Verify dimensions and surface finish of machined components using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.).Adjust machine settings to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality.Identify and report deviations, tool wear, or equipment malfunctions.Maintain daily production records and ensure on-time completion of jobs.Follow safety procedures and maintain machine cleanliness.Coordinate with the quality and production teams for smooth workflow.Key Skills & Knowledge:Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine setup and operation.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Hands-on experience with Fanuc (as applicable).Strong understanding of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.Basic knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection procedures.Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability in machining operations.Willingness to work in shifts if required.Qualifications:10th, ITI, Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Tool & Die.0–5 years of experience in CNC/VMC machining setup and operation.
