**Key Responsibilities**:Precision Press Tool & Die Manufacturing**:
- Independently operate and maintain **Lathe** and **Surface Grinding** machines to produce precision components.
- Manufacture, assemble, and repair high-precision tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and components.
- Ensure finished components meet exact specifications and tolerances of **0.01 mm** or better.
**Machining Operations**:
- Set up, program (if CNC), and operate all tool room machinery, including milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and other equipment.
- Machine and finish components from raw materials, ensuring high-quality finishes and precise dimensions.
**Quality Control and Inspection**:
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM machines to inspect and verify dimensions.
- Perform regular quality checks during and after machining to ensure compliance with required tolerances and standards.
**Tool Maintenance and Repairs**:
- Maintain and recondition tools, dies, and fixtures to ensure optimal performance and extend tool life.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any machining or tool-related issues during the manufacturing process.
**Collaboration and Reporting**:
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve tooling designs and address technical challenges.
- Maintain accurate records of machining operations, tool maintenance, and project progress.
**Optimization and Efficiency**:
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance machining processes, reduce material wastage, and improve overall efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards in all machining operations.
**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a **Tool Room Die Maker**, with expertise in operating **Lathe** and **Surface Grinding** machines.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple machines and operations.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tool design, and material properties.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments to achieve tolerances within **0.01 mm**.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail for high-precision work.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Certification or diploma in Tool & Die Making, Machining, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for designing and programming (if applicable).
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting tool room machinery.
