**We are currently recruiting an CAD Drafter** **for our location in Mumbai, India**

**In this role, you will**

Under direct supervision by Engineering Manager, produce design drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation proficiently. Use Thermon established guidelines and procedures to prepare heat tracing isometrics, panelboard schedules, cable schedules, instrument schedules, wiring diagrams, and location plans. Create composite single line piping isometric take-offs from customer orthographic piping drawings and piping isometrics.
- Teamwork - Interact with the other CAD operators, HT designers, and Engineering Manager to generate drawings
- Ability to draw and plot to scale
- Gain knowledge about the HT systems that are being drafted
- Ability to create 3D component drawings
- Keep current with changes in CAD program features and functions
- Prepare and self-review drawings for accuracy
- Conduct site surveys to sketch information required for heat tracing design (If necessary)
- Adhere to company's policies, procedures and standards
- Computer literate - Basic MS Office skills
- Sound knowledge of 3-D modelling (PDMS, PDS, SmartPlant 3D)
- Ability and desire to learn with positive atitude, experiences and examples of supervisors
- Able to assist in preparation of MTO, piping layouts
- Knowledge of drafting as per engineering standards
- Foster collaboration and possess good interpersonal and communication skills
