**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Design, install, configure, and maintain databases for production, development, and testing environments.**

**Monitor and optimize database performance, security, backup, and recovery processes.**

**Implement and manage database backup strategies and disaster recovery plans.**

**Work closely with developers to optimize SQL queries and improve database performance.**

**Perform regular database maintenance tasks including indexing, performance tuning, and upgrades.**

**Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.**

**Maintain database security by implementing best practices in user access controls and encryption.**

**Ensure data integrity and consistency across all databases.**

**Manage database capacity planning and scaling requirements.**

**Required Skills**:
**Strong knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB).**

**Proven experience with database administration, backup, and recovery processes.**

**Proficient in SQL and performance tuning.**

**Familiarity with database security practices and data encryption.**

**Experience with database replication, clustering, and high availability solutions.**

**Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation of database tasks.**

**Ability to work with large-scale database environments.**

**Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure.**

**Good understanding of data models and database design principles.**

**Preferred Qualifications**:
**Experience with cloud-based database solutions such as AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, or Azure SQL.**

**Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes for database management.**

**Certifications in database management or administration (e.g., Oracle DBA, Microsoft Certified DBA, etc.).**

Experience: Minimum 4 years

**Salary**: 20 lakhs to 22 lakhs.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,200,000.00 per year
