Job Description: Production Supervisor
**Company**: Unipack Engineering Pvt. Ltd. **Location**: Kotambi **Department**: Manufacturing / Production **Reports To**: Production Manager / Plant Head **Employment Type**: Full-Time
Objective
To oversee and coordinate daily production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are met. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in managing shop floor activities, leading production teams, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage production line operations to meet daily output targets
- Allocate manpower and resources effectively to optimize productivity
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflows to meet deadlines
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and resolve any production issues
- Maintain safety protocols and enforce compliance with company policies
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff performance
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate production records and generate daily reports
- Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support implementation of new processes, equipment, and technologies
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
- 3-9 years of experience in a supervisory role in manufacturing or packaging industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and safety standards
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in packaging machinery or engineering-based production
- Hands-on approach with a focus on shop floor excellence
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
