Fabrication Operator

**Role Title**: Fabricator / Operator

**Location**: Devanahalli, Bangalore
**Reports to**: Production Engineer
**Function**: Product Realization - Manufacturing

**Role Objective**:
To manufacture interconnect solutions (mainly wire harnesses) ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Common Tasks**:
Follow mentorship, maintain 5S, participate in engagement activities

Complete tasks on time with discipline and maturity.

Do timely self-appraisals.

**Specific Tasks**:
Interpret schematics and build cable assemblies on form boards.

Hands-on wiring harness fabrication: crimping, soldering, sleeving, splicing, potting, etc.

Inspect materials and kits per BOM.

Self-inspect work against BTP assembly data.

Use correct tools, document production digitally, and maintain tool calibration.

Identify and report non-conformances.

Implement improvements (Kaizen) and follow safety/EHS guidelines.

**Key Performance Measures**:
100% first-time quality and on-time delivery.

Full compliance with documentation and safety.

Participation in Kaizen and reduced process time.

**Competencies Required**:
Electrical wire harness manufacturing

Customer focus, communication, continuous learning, stress tolerance, ethics

**Qualifications**:
**Diploma in**: Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics

**Experience**: 1-4 years in wire harness manufacturing

**Preferred Certifications/Skills**:
IPC-WHMA-620, IPC J STD 001

Experience with aircraft looms, RF cables

Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 QMS Mechanical CAD is a bonus

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
