Job Summary:
The Academic Counselor for Preschool will provide guidance and support to preschool children, their families, and educators, ensuring a nurturing environment that supports both the social and emotional development and the academic growth of young learners. This role involves working closely with preschool teachers to monitor the progress of students, addressing behavioral concerns, and providing resources for both children and their families to foster early learning success.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Student Support**:

- Observe and assess children’s academic, emotional, and social development.
- Collaborate with preschool teachers to develop individualized learning plans to meet the needs of each child.
- Provide early intervention for children struggling academically, socially, or emotionally.
- Design and facilitate group or one-on-one counseling sessions to support children’s emotional well-being.
- **Parent and Family Collaboration**:

- Meet with parents to discuss children’s progress, concerns, and recommendations.
- Provide resources and guidance for parents regarding child development and educational strategies at home.
- Offer workshops or informational sessions to parents on early childhood development, learning strategies, and positive discipline.
- **Teacher Support**:

- Provide training and guidance to preschool staff on best practices for supporting students with diverse needs.
- Assist teachers in implementing individualized educational strategies and classroom management techniques.
- Facilitate communication between teachers and parents regarding student progress and concerns.
- **Records and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of student progress, behavior, and counseling sessions.
- Prepare reports on academic progress and developmental milestones for parent-teacher meetings.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and preschool standards in relation to academic counseling.
- **Developmental and Academic Resources**:

- Stay updated on research and best practices in early childhood education and academic counseling.
- Recommend appropriate resources and activities to support the academic and emotional development of preschool children

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
