**Description**

**Responsible for database administration and maintenance (includes regular backups, log checks, memory allocation checks etc.)**

**DBA is Data infrastructure expert, being the ones with solid knowledge of the resources that store and manage proprietary, user, and system data used by the department. Responsibilities are related to database performance tuning and monitoring, which include Combing for bugs, glitches, and corrupt data.**

**The generation of analytical reports involve huge taxpayers’ data and needs efficient end-to-end management of database on an on-going basis to facilitate smooth functioning and optimum utilization.**

**Regular database backup, disaster recovery and periodical testing of backup data.**

**Conducting configuration review to tune database.**

**Maintaining the necessary documentation and managing schemes to database schema, disk space, user roles, and storage.**

**Create/Manage Database Users/Objects.**

**Write Procedures, functions, Triggers, Cursors & Packages etc. when and where required.**

**Fixing the Data transfer issues and coordination.**

**Schedule and perform regular server maintenance.**

**Qualification**

**i) Master’s Degree in Technology/ Engineering (MTech/ ME) in IT/ Computers/ Computer Science from a recognized University or institution with minimum 60% marks.**

**ii) B.E/B.Tech in IT/Computers/Computer Science or Master in Computer Application from a recognized University or institution with minimum 60% marks.**
