Winding Supervisor

**Experience Required**: 3-5 years in yarn winding (soft and hard winding)
**Education**: Diploma in Textile Technology / ITI / Relevant experience

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Yarn Winding Supervisor to manage the yarn winding section of our dyeing unit. The supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the soft winding (pre-dyeing) and hard winding (post-dyeing) processes, ensuring productivity, machine efficiency, quality standards, and team coordination.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise daily operations in soft winding (preparatory for dyeing) and hard winding (final packing) sections.
- Monitor winding parameters such as tension, speed, cone build, and package quality.
- Allocate manpower effectively and ensure smooth functioning of winding machines (Schlafhorst, SSM, etc. if applicable).
- Inspect and ensure yarn is free from defects such as slubs, knots, and improper winding patterns.
- Ensure correct yarn count, lot identity, and batch traceability.
- Coordinate with the dyeing and QC departments for production planning and feedback on yarn quality.
- Minimize winding rejections and ensure rework is handled efficiently.
- Maintain daily production and machine utilization reports.
- Ensure preventive maintenance of winding machines in coordination with the maintenance team.
- Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean working environment.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong understanding of yarn types, counts, and winding techniques.
- Hands-on experience with automatic and semi-automatic winding machines.
- Good leadership and team-handling skills.
- Attention to detail and quality awareness.
- Ability to troubleshoot minor mechanical and quality-related issues.
- Basic computer literacy for production entry and reporting.

**Working Conditions**:

- Factory-based role with shift duty (day/night rotation).
- Should be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
