**1. Machine Operation**
- Operate VMC machines as per job specifications and drawings.
- Load and unload components on the machine.
- Ensure smooth operation of CNC-controlled machining centers.

**2. Programming & Editing**
- Create, modify, and optimize G-code programs for CNC VMC.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files.
- Make on-machine program adjustments as needed.

**3. Tooling & Setup**
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and offsets.
- Set up tools and workpieces accurately on the VMC.
- Calibrate and measure tool lengths and work offsets using gauges and probes.

**4. Quality Control**
- Perform in-process inspection using Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish as per specifications.
- Document inspection results and maintain quality logs.

**5. Maintenance**
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machines.
- Monitor coolant levels, lubrication, and machine condition.
- Report and assist in troubleshooting breakdowns or malfunctions.

**6. Production & Efficiency**
- Achieve daily/weekly production targets with mínimal downtime.
- Optimize cycle times and reduce tool wear and breakage.
- Ensure mínimal wastage and adherence to production schedules.

**7. Safety & Compliance**
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with ISO/TS quality standards and company policies.

**8. Collaboration & Reporting**
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and QA teams.
- Provide feedback on machining issues and suggest improvements.
- Maintain logs and reports for shift handovers and audits.
