**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Leadership and Management**:
- Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Organize staffing schedules, oversee work assignments, and manage day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
- Lead recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursing staff to ensure competence and professional development.
- Conduct regular performance appraisals for nursing staff and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Maintain a positive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among all staff.
- **Patient Care and Quality Assurance**:
- Ensure that patient care is delivered in accordance with established protocols and best practices.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement corrective actions to improve care quality.
- Ensure the proper handling and documentation of patient information, maintaining confidentiality in accordance with healthcare laws (e.g., HIPAA).
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure holistic and integrated patient care.
- **Compliance and Policies**:
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and nursing standards.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency and patient safety.
- Stay current with advancements in nursing practice, healthcare laws, and industry trends.
- **Resource Management**:
- Oversee the nursing department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and supplies.
- Coordinate with other healthcare departments to maintain the availability of necessary equipment and materials.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and skill mix to meet patient needs.
- **Training and Development**:
- Organize educational programs and workshops to enhance the professional development of nursing staff.
- Promote continuous learning and encourage staff to pursue certifications and advanced training.
- Mentor and support nursing supervisors and other leadership roles within the department.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:
- Serve as a liaison between nursing staff and hospital administration.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical teams, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
- Address concerns or complaints from patients and their families, providing timely resolutions.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN) from an accredited institution.
- Valid Nursing License (RN) From Karnataka University
- **Experience**:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing, including 2-3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting or healthcare facility is preferred.
- **Skills**:
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and nursing standards.
- Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
- Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records (EHR).
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
