**Job Purpose**:
To ensure that all civil construction activities at the site adhere to the quality standards set forth in project specifications, industry regulations, and internal quality systems. The QC Engineer will monitor work practices, perform inspections, and document compliance to ensure delivery of a defect-free project.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct on-site inspections and tests on construction materials, workmanship, and processes.
- Review and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and maintain QC documentation (Inspection Test Plans - ITPs, Quality Checklists, NCRs, etc.).
- Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to ensure timely and correct execution of work.
- Monitor and test the quality of concrete, steel reinforcement, soil compaction, waterproofing, and other civil materials.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
- Participate in internal and external audits and assist with corrective action follow-up.
- Maintain records of inspection results and other quality-related documentation.
- Liaise with consultants, clients, and third-party testing agencies as needed.
- Ensure that construction meets safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Suggest improvements to site practices and quality procedures to prevent defects.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards (IS codes, ASTM, BS, etc.)
- Experience in material testing (concrete cubes, soil, aggregates, etc.)
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001:2015)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office and QA/QC software tools (if any)
- Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in QA/QC or related field (e.g., ISO, NDT, etc.) is an advantage
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure/building projects is desirable

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹32,634.12 per month
