**Job Description**:
Enterprise Architect (Consultant) - Applications & Integrations (JD -1)

15+ years of overall experience in IT industry with experience in Enterprise Architecting, Integrations & Cloud.

Certifications: TOGAF, Enterprise Architect related certifications.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- defining strategic architectures and facilitate alignment of domain roadmaps and key initiatives to strategy
- curating and evolve key artifacts that support architecture work, e.g. the business capability model, the technology landscape, technology standards
- defining the architecture for epics that cut across multiple business or functional domains
- driving the introduction, uplift or retirement of core enabling capabilities and communicate their roadmaps (epic owner where appropriate)
- facilitating architecture assurance of enterprise-wide and cross-domain architectures.

You will also:

- define the strategic reference architecture and roadmap for the domain in alignment with the enterprise architecture and our digital product strategy
- collaborate with product and technology leadership in defining a feasible delivery roadmap
- lead the definition of end-to-end reference architectures for your domain
- perform architecture assurance (review) of solution designs in your domain and assist with escalation of exceptions as required.
- ensure that all solutions in your domain are aligned with our risk, security, data management and operational principles
- build a strong digital architecture community and actively participate in the improvement of the broader architecture and engineering practice and the broader Macquarie.

Ideally you will bring:

- experience as a Solution or Enterprise Architect in an execution-focussed environment.
- ability to engage effectively with senior business stakeholders and engineers.
- experience executing on architecture governance in a fast-paced Agile environment
- financial services experience is highly desirable
- experience with Azure, AWS and/or GCP service landscapes and the underlying technologies
- experience working with both API-based and event-based architectures
- a strong sense of urgency - we believe in a healthy balance between architecture purity and feature delivery.
- you should be bold, collaborative, empathetic, have a commercial focus and a learning mindset.
