ob Summary:
The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dispatch team, ensuring that all deliveries and services are executed efficiently and in a timely manner. This role involves coordinating with drivers, customers, and other departments to optimize routes, handle emergencies, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Supervision and Management**:

- Lead and supervise the dispatch team, providing guidance and support.
- Schedule and assign tasks to dispatchers and drivers.
- Monitor performance and conduct regular evaluations.
- **Operational Coordination**:

- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency.
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and compliance with safety regulations.
- Address and resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during the dispatch process.
- **Customer Service**:

- Act as a liaison between customers and drivers to ensure clear communication and high customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries promptly and professionally.
- **Record Keeping and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including driver logs, fuel usage, and delivery times.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on dispatch operations and performance metrics.
- **Compliance and Safety**:

- Ensure that all dispatch operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Conduct safety training sessions and ensure that all team members are aware of safety protocols.
- **Technology and Systems Management**:

- Utilize dispatch software and other technologies to streamline operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to dispatch systems.

Qualifications:

- **Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in dispatching, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- **Skills and Competencies**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and other relevant technologies.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- **Certifications**:

- Relevant certifications in logistics or transportation management are a plus.

Working Conditions:

- **Environment**:

- Office-based with occasional visits to operational sites.
- May require working outside regular business hours, including weekends and holidays.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
