Gems Precision Castings Pvt. Ltd. is a Castings Manufacturing Foundry which started its production from the year 2006, located on Chennai - Bangalore Highway and is about 50 Kms away from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Our Vision is to achieve a target of 200 tonnes of good castings every month before the end of the year 2021, with our dedicated team of 125 employees, we are confident that we can fulfill our vision. Our Objective is to achieve this mission.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

Role: Die Designer - Foundry
Industry : Manufacturing / Automotive / Foundry
Location : Sriperumbdur/Kanchipuram.
Requirement : BE/Diploma
Experience : 2 - 8 Years
Salary : Negotiable (15,000 to 35,000 based on Experience)

**FOUNDRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.**
**SHELL MOULD FOUNDRY EXPERIENCE PREFERED.**

Job Scope/Expectations:

- Should have strong knowledge in DIE & MOULD design for metal casting.
- Sound knowledge in PPAP and APQP documentations.
- Experience and deep understanding in Runner, Raiser, gating, parting line design.
- Experience in CAD designing software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc. (Primarily SOLIDWORKS)
- Knowledge in PART modelling / ASSEMBLY / DRAFT.
- Basic knowledge in GD&T.
- Basic understanding in FLOW SIMULATION of MOLTEN METAL in FOUNDRY.
- Basic understanding in usage of CAM for DIE manufacturing.
- Capable of making modifications/corrections to existing die
- Work closely with NPD, marketing, process engineers to quote for an RFQ and develop die for new project
- Should be a good communicator with good presentation skills capable of sharing reports & presentations to MD
- To plan and execution of Daily die manufacturing activities.
- To arrange necessary resources to meet operational targets.
- Knowledge in Draft angle, DIE rework, etc.

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
