As a Community Mobilizer, you will play a crucial role in identifying, reaching out to, and mobilizing Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) in your assigned territory. You will work closely with community leaders, government officials, and other stakeholders to create awareness about the opportunities and services offered by Samarthanam Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

- Community Outreach:

- Conduct regular community visits to identify potential beneficiaries.
- Build relationships with community leaders, self-help groups, and other relevant organizations.
- Organize awareness campaigns and workshops to educate the community about disability rights and inclusion.
- Identify and engage with government schemes and initiatives that support PwDs.
- Enrollment and Documentation:

- Ensure that all required documents are accurate and complete.
- Maintain accurate records of all activities and interactions.
- Follow-up and Support:

- Facilitate linkages with employers and other relevant organizations.
- Data Management:

- Submit regular reports on your activities and achievements.
- Utilize digital tools and software to track and analyze data.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Disability Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in community mobilization or social work.
- Strong understanding of disability issues and challenges faced by PwDs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in local languages.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Passion for social justice and empowering marginalized communities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with PwDs.
- Knowledge of government schemes and initiatives for PwDs.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
